No Nonsense Procurement
I'm a FCIPS procurement person with over 20 years' hands-on experience in both public and private sectors, mostly within construction. My career has been about building strong supplier partnerships, navigating complex public sector tenders, and keeping supply chains running smoothly, even through challenges like the Covid pandemic.
These days, I'm self-employed and loving the variety: I teach CIPS courses remotely to students across the UK, mentor apprentices, and freelance for the DFE where I draft
public sector tenders and streamline processes using tools like Notion, Zapier, and
custom AI solutions I build myself. I'm always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to get things done, whether that's automating workflows or creating task-specific AI tools that save time and reduce errors.
Outside the day job, I'm deeply passionate about making workplaces more inclusive for neurodiverse people, particularly those on the autistic spectrum. Achieving CIPS Fellowship in January 2024 was a proud moment, and I'm committed to bringing that same energy to any team or project I join.
I am available for freelance projects/assignments such as:
- Tender Creation and award
- Dynamic Market creation and management
- CIPS Tutoring
- General procurement & supply chain coaching
- Project procurement in construction to manage materials and hired goods
- Consultancy
- Public speaking events
